The national forum outcomes resulted in a request for the following updates to be made to the WRH06 Hairdressing Training Package which require the endorsement of the National Quality Council (NQC):
• Include the unit WRBCS201B Conduct financial transactions, from the WRB04 Beauty Training Package and which is a core unit of the Certificate III Hairdressing, to the elective bank of Certificate II in Hairdressing.
• Include the unit WRHCR404A Apply chemical reformation techniques to enhance hair designs, currently within the elective bank of Certificate IV in            Hairdressing, to the elective bank of Certificate III in Hairdressing.
• Include the unit SIRXMGT001A Coordinate work teams to the elective bank of Certificate III in Hairdressing. Please note that this unit is coded as            WRRER2B Coordinate work teams in WRH06 and is a core unit in the Certificate IV in Hairdressing.
• Delete the term ‘natural’ in relation to curl throughout the unit WRHCR303A Perform chemical straightening and relaxing services.

Other changes:
