MEM30205 Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade

Employees in the engineering (mechanical) trade manufacture, maintain and repair machinery and equipment that is used in the manufacturing industry. They are skilled in the use of machines such as lathes, mills, drills and grinders including the operation of computer numerical controlled equipment. They are also skilled in the use of hand tools and can make, read and interpret engineering drawings

Applicants for trade recognition should provide evidence to demonstrate at least 4 years practical experience in the following trade competencies.

In addition to any other evidence supporting an application for trade recognition, applicants are encouraged to use this checklist as a self assessment competency guide and lodge it with the application.
