AUR30605 Certificate III in Automotive Specialist (Forklift Mechanical)

Employees in the trade of Automotive Mechanical (Forklift Maintenance) set up and operate machinery to restore and recondition the machined surfaces of vehicle components. Work involves pre-repair operations such as diagnosis, dismantling engines and evaluating components, conducting testing procedures, overhauling engines, rebuilding and reclaiming engine components, reboring and honing of cylinder heads, servicing and repair of braking systems, grinding/facing and machining components to specifications using lathe, drilling and cutting machines.

Applicants for trade recognition should provide evidence to demonstrate at least 4 years practical experience in the following trade competencies.
