Commissioners Information Bulletin 081
Issued: 25 October 1999 - Attachment A

Course Structure
To receive the award of Certificate II in Aeroskills, students must be competent in a total of ten competency units, six core competencies, and four competencies relevant to the Avionics, Mechanics, or Structures Maintenance stream.

In terms of course structure:

  1. students in the Avionic stream must satisfactorily complete all the modules in group 1 and group 2.
  2. students in the Mechanical stream must satisfactorily complete all the modules in group 1 and group 3
  3. students in the Structures Maintenance stream must satisfactorily complete all the modules in group 1 and group 4

It is expected that students wishing to enter this course will be required to undergo a challenge test in mathematics and physics. Those that do not meet the required standard in these subjects will be required to undergo either or both bridging modules in group 5.
