Matters referred to the Vocational Training Board
To assist the operations of the Vocational Training Board (VTB) attention is drawn to the following requirements:

1. All matters referred to the VTB should have a recommendation which indicates how the referring officer considers the matter should be determined eg:

VTB to hold a hearing; or
VTB to refuse the application; or
VTB to approve early completion, etc

2. On all referrals where hearings are recommended the current names, addresses and telephone numbers for the employer and the learner are to be clearly shown
